William Weese-Winemaker

Born and raised in beautiful Sonoma County, William Weese fell in love with wine from an early age. Will has always enjoyed using creativity to produce something that has a lasting memory. It was only fitting that William went into wine. He learned how to put his passion and energy into every part of wine creation, that allows others to experience a sense of place and time in each bottle. Wine is filled with life and stories in every sip. From the location of the fruit, farming practices, seasonal change, to production and aging. “Enjoying life is extremely important to me and with wine, I get to live a lifestyle that revolves around family, food, wine, and laughter. Sustainability is a major focus William has honed in on. From the vineyard to the winery William is constantly looking for the best possible way of giving back to the land that we take from each year to create the majestic wines we find in bottle. Will enjoys making single vineyard wines with a focus on organic, biodynamic, and regenerative farming.

Going to school for business has led him to enjoy all aspects of the industry and help brands focus on more than just buying expensive fruit to produce great wine. “Finding those hidden treasures and enjoying the relationships I get to make with the growers and the land help me showcase all that nature provides us with.”-Will

“I have worked at some amazing locations over the years, including New Zealand, France, Chile, Napa, and Sonoma. Learning from amazing people and experiencing different cultures which is reflected in their wines. The past 10+ years have helped guide me down a path of creating truly unique wines in some of the most stunning locations.”

Working harvest is always the most exciting. The smells, tastes and even the vineyards are all part of what makes wine so special.

If I am not in the winery, I love to be on a golf course, working on my car, or enjoying time with loved ones.
